“What if every member of your team was operating as if he/she owned the business?”
The Great Game of Business
Franzi Charen, from our marketing and communications team, had the opportunity to attend and photograph The Great Game of Business Annual Gathering of Games Conference in Dallas, TX on September 5-6, 2018.
This is the largest Open Book Management Conference where businesses from across the continent come together to share best practices, re-energize employees and develop new ideas and strategies for building better workplaces.
Great Game of Business (GGOB) is an organization that believes that quality work happens when every member of the team is operating as if he/she owned the business. The impacts come to life when staff makes decisions as a team with intention, when employees understand the impact they each have on business outcomes, and when each team is accountable and responsible for projecting and controlling revenues and/or expenses within their area.
Speakers, who brought an array of expertise, included Ann Rhoades, author of Built on Values and former leader of workplace culture at JetBlue and Southwest Airline, and Ari Weinzweig, Co-owner and founding partner of Zingerman’s community of businesses.
As Project Equity accompanies businesses on their journey to employee ownership, we make sure they have all the tools they need to thrive. By attending these conferences, we have the opportunity to meet with successful employee-owners and hear their inspiring stories. We gather skills and the latest innovations in growing a more democratic business culture and bring them to you!
